CoreWeave Leverage Short

Shorts CRWV on AI debt stress

How it works

Thesis

Bets CoreWeave stock falls while AI data-center debt and rate fears dominate, profiting from a short on its stock perpetual.

Strategy

• Short entry: Shorts CRWV when two of three hold: price under its 10-day average, chip ETF down over 5 days, stress news in the last 3 days. • Cover: Buys back the short when two of three point to relief: price above the 10-day average, chip ETF up, relief news. • Sizing: Risks 3% of your allocation with a stop 10% above entry, so the short is 30% of the allocation, at least $10.

Exposure

• Holds: USDC and a CRWV short — USDC on Hyperliquid, with up to 30% of it in a short on the CoreWeave stock perpetual. • Venue: Hyperliquid Trade[XYZ] — Your USDC stays in your Hyperliquid account, and the agent trades the CRWV market there. • Leverage: None — The short is about 30% of your allocation, so it uses no borrowed money. • Costs: Trading fees, funding — It pays Hyperliquid trading fees and hourly funding while the short is open. • Data: Circuit — It uses Circuit prices and Circuit's news feed for headlines about CoreWeave, inflation and the Fed. • On unwind: USDC — When you close the short, you get USDC back on Hyperliquid.
