Three Coin Zone Breakouts

Trade strong hourly continuation

How it works

Thesis

Strong hourly moves in ZEC, NEAR and HYPE can keep going after price closes beyond the preceding hour's zone.

Strategy

• Signal: A body ≥1.8× the prior 14-hour mean range breaking a 14-hour high/low defines the previous hour's zone; enter on a later close beyond it. • Filters: Enter 00:00–14:00 Pacific with the 4h close above/below its 20-bar average and 14h mean range at 0.5–2× the 48h mean; ZEC wins ties, then NEAR. • Risk and exits: One position; target 1% risk, leverage-capped; stop 5% of normal range past the zone, target 2.5R, or exit on an opposite signal or after 7 days.

Exposure

• Holds: ZEC, NEAR or HYPE — One long or short perpetual position at a time, backed by USDC; venue minimum order sizes apply. • Venue: Hyperliquid — USDC sits on HyperCore; enter your leverage choice before starting. • Leverage: Choose 1–10x — Blank until chosen; caps position value at your chosen multiple of allocation without multiplying the risk budget. • Costs: Trading fees, funding — Pays Hyperliquid trading fees and the funding on its open position. • Data: Circuit — Uses completed hourly and 4-hour candles, current prices and session holdings. • On unwind: USDC — Closing the position leaves USDC on HyperCore.
