Weekly Stock Leaders

Weekly trends, daily risk cuts

How it works

Thesis

Strong US stock trends persist; weekly momentum selection and daily exposure cuts seek gains while limiting drawdowns.

Strategy

• Weekly leaders: At 06:45 Pacific each week's first US trading day, rank the monthly top-30 liquid allowed stocks by 63/126-day trends, skipping five sessions. • Entry and exit: Buy five above their 100-day average, retain top-eight holdings, and use native 10% entry stops; stopped names wait until next week's selection. • Sizing and brakes: Use inverse 20-day volatility weights, 100%/50%/0% regime tiers, 12%/20% drawdown cuts, and five strong sessions to release the cash brake.

Exposure

• Holds: US stock perps and USDC — Holds only the supplied xyz stocks, selected monthly by at least $5M open interest; USDC backs the positions. • Venue: Hyperliquid xyz — Starts from allocated HyperCore USDC and trades Trade[XYZ] stock perpetuals. • Leverage: 0.25x to 3x — Defaults to 1x; total exposure defaults to a 1x ceiling, and each stock also respects its market leverage cap. • Costs: Trading fees and funding — Hyperliquid execution fees and ongoing perpetual funding affect the allocated equity. • Data: Circuit — Uses stock and SP500 candles, prices, funding and open interest; the 63-day trend alone applies when six-month history is unavailable. • On unwind: USDC — Closing positions after stopping returns their settled value to USDC; stopping alone leaves positions and orders in place.
