Breakout Rider

Thesis

Catch moves beyond the previous hour's price range, ride them in either direction, and recycle the capital into the next move.

Strategy

• Find a move: Scan BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, XRP, DOGE, SUI and AVAX every minute; buy above the previous hour's high or sell below its low. • Ride and exit: By default, close at a 2% favorable price move or after 12 hours, whichever comes first, then scan again once flat. • One trade at a time: Choose the largest percentage break and size from the full USDC allocation at up to 1x exposure, subject to Hyperliquid's minimum order size.

Exposure

• Holds: USDC and one position — One long or short perpetual contract on BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, XRP, DOGE, SUI or AVAX. • Venue: Hyperliquid — USDC stays in your Hyperliquid account while the agent trades. • Leverage: 1x target exposure — Position value is at most the allocated USDC, except when raised to the venue minimum. • Costs: Trading fees and funding — Pays Hyperliquid trading fees and ongoing funding payments while a position is open. • Data: Circuit — Prices and five-minute candles for the eight scanned coins. • On unwind: USDC — The position closes, leaving USDC on Hyperliquid.
