BTC Momentum Scalper

Thesis

Rides short BTC bursts on Hyperliquid with high leverage, taking many small wins of about 0.1% in price.

Strategy

• Entry: Goes long when BTC rises 0.05% within a minute and short when it falls 0.05%, checking every 15 seconds. • Exit: Closes once price moves 0.1% in its favour, or flips side when momentum turns the other way. • Size: Each trade uses your whole USDC balance at 25x leverage.

Exposure

• Holds: One BTC long or short — At most one BTC position at a time, or plain USDC while waiting for momentum. • Venue: Hyperliquid perpetuals — Your USDC stays in your Hyperliquid trading account. • Leverage: 25x by default — Each position is your balance times the leverage you set, up to 40x. • Costs: Trading fees, funding — Hyperliquid's taker fee of about 0.045% on each open and close, plus hourly funding. • Data: Circuit — BTC prices refreshed every 15 seconds come from Circuit. • On unwind: USDC on Hyperliquid — Closing the open BTC position returns its margin plus or minus profit in USDC.
