Energy Volume Basket

Buys unusually busy energy names

How it works

Thesis

Bets that unusually high trading volume in energy stocks precedes price gains by buying their Hyperliquid perpetuals.

Strategy

• Volume entries: Check BE, CVX, GEV and VST hourly; buy when 24-hour Hyperliquid dollar volume reaches 1.5 times its median daily volume over 30 days. • Basket sizing: Split the unused exposure budget equally among unfilled slots in a four-stock basket, targeting 1x total exposure and meeting venue minimums. • Holding: Hold each purchased stock position without repeat buys or automatic sales until you stop the agent.

Exposure

• Holds: Energy-stock perps — Long stock-linked perpetuals for Bloom Energy, Chevron, GE Vernova and Vistra as they qualify, plus USDC. • Venue: Hyperliquid — Trades the xyz and para markets, with the allocation and collateral held in USDC on Hyperliquid. • Leverage: Targets 1x — Total exposure targets the allocation's value; small orders are raised to the venue minimum. • Costs: Trading and funding — Pays Hyperliquid trading fees and ongoing funding payments. • Data: Circuit — Supplies Hyperliquid trading volume, 30-day daily medians, prices and positions. • On unwind: USDC on Hyperliquid — All stock perpetuals close, leaving the remaining balance in USDC.
