ETH Funding Long

Long ETH on negative funding

How it works

Thesis

A long-only ETH perpetual agent driven by the sign of Hyperliquid's current predicted hourly funding.

Strategy

• Entry: Each negative-funding period permits one entry, including an already-negative rate at startup, subject to a projected-funding-versus-cost check. • Exit: Positive funding closes the long, zero leaves it unchanged, and missing or stale evidence skips ordinary decisions. • Sizing: Entry notional defaults to 5% of allocated USDC, capped by market liquidity, with no resizing or topping up after an entry.

Exposure

• Holds: ETH long perpetual — A long ETH perpetual position funded from allocated HyperCore USDC. • Venue: Hyperliquid perpetuals — Funding and activation are handled in Terminal. • Leverage: 5% notional — Entry notional defaults to 5% of allocated USDC; the setting is not a guaranteed loss limit. • Costs: Fees and funding — ETH price losses, liquidation, changing funding, fees and partial fills can outweigh funding receipts. • Data: Circuit — Uses Circuit funding and market data only. • On unwind: ETH long closed — Stop attempts to close all session ETH exposure using allocation prices.
