BTC ETH Reversion

Fade ETH relative extremes

How it works

Thesis

Profit when ETH's unusually large daily move relative to BTC reverses.

Strategy

• Entry: Default: check hourly and fade a 2.5-point ETH/BTC gap over 24 hours when both move together; window, gap and interval are adjustable. • Sizing: Target $50 per leg, BTC first; retry incomplete fills with a $10 minimum order, with no averaging. • Exit: Close both when their combined result is positive after estimated fees, funding and 0.01% closing slippage; check exits every five minutes.

Exposure

• Holds: BTC/ETH pair and USDC — Long BTC/short ETH after relative ETH strength; reverse after relative ETH weakness. • Venue: Hyperliquid — USDC collateral stays on HyperCore. • Leverage: At most 1x gross — The pair holds about $100 exposure, up to $120 after minimum-size fill repairs, against at least $120.054 USDC. • Costs: Trading fees and funding — Profit checks estimate 0.045% per fill and include each leg's funding. • Data: Circuit — Uses completed Hyperliquid hourly or five-minute candles and allocated position valuations. • On unwind: USDC — Closing both perpetual positions leaves USDC collateral.
