Thesis

Ride short BTC price moves at 1,000× on Papertrade and reinvest proceeds toward a $1 million cash target.

Strategy

• Entry: Buy BTC when its latest close is at least its first open over 15 minutes, otherwise short it, as soon as the previous trade has closed. • Exit: Close each trade one minute after it opens, or at once within 0.02% of liquidation; stop opening trades once cash reaches $1 million. • Sizing: Put the full USDC allocation into one BTC position at 1,000×, with Papertrade's $10 minimum margin.

Exposure

• Holds: BTC and USDC — One BTC position at a time, with USDC between trades. • Venue: Papertrade — Uses allocated Papertrade USDC; at least $10 funds the first $10,000 trade. • Leverage: 1,000× — Each dollar of margin controls $1,000 of BTC; liquidation sits about 0.05% from entry and takes the whole margin. • Costs: Winning-close charges — Papertrade applies a move-dependent haircut and a 2% fee to winning closes. • Data: Circuit, Hyperliquid — Hyperliquid BTC minute candles supply the momentum signal; its live BTC best bid and ask, Papertrade's settlement price, drive exits. • On unwind: Open position stays — Stopping leaves the position on Papertrade; turn on hard_kill first to close it. USDC stays on Papertrade.
