Aero ETH Range

Thesis

Earns Aerodrome trading fees and AERO rewards on Base by keeping a WETH/USDC liquidity range centered on the ETH price.

Strategy

• Opens a range: Splits the money half WETH, half USDC and provides it 5% above and below the ETH price, staked for AERO rewards. • Recenters when out: Every 15 minutes it checks the price; once ETH leaves the range it closes the position, claims AERO and reopens around the new price. • Compounds rewards: Claimed AERO is sold for USDC and goes into the next range with all the money.

Exposure

• Holds: Half ETH, half USDC — While in range your money sits in the Aerodrome WETH/USDC pool; the mix drifts toward whichever side the price moves away from. • Venue: Aerodrome on Base — Funds stay in your Base wallet as a staked pool position; keep a little ETH on Base to pay gas. • Leverage: None — It only provides what it holds. • Costs: Swaps and Base gas — Each recenter pays a swap fee to rebalance plus a few cents of Base gas per transaction. • Data: mainnet.base.org — Reads the pool price and your position from Base's public node, since Circuit does not track Aerodrome positions. • On unwind: WETH, USDC, AERO — Close the staked position to get back WETH and USDC plus any unclaimed AERO.
