Quiet Volume buys coins with rising trading volume and quiet prices, aiming to profit from a later run-up.

Strategy

• Entry: Each hour, rank the top 40 liquid Hyperliquid coins for 2.5x three-hour volume, a -1% to +2% price change and a tight trading range. • Exit: Check every 15 minutes for a 6% loss, a 5% trailing drop after an 8% gain, proximity to liquidation or a 72-hour holding limit. • Size: Open longs worth at least $25, each capped at 20% of equity; hold up to three with 60% total entry exposure and 72-hour re-entry waits.

Exposure

• Holds: Crypto longs and USDC — Long crypto perpetuals and unused USDC. • Venue: Hyperliquid — Main perpetual markets; collateral stays in HyperCore USDC, starting with at least 130 USDC. • Leverage: Up to 0.6x exposure — Total entry exposure is capped at 60% of session equity. • Costs: Trading and funding — Hyperliquid trading fees and ongoing funding payments. • Data: Circuit — Prices, volume and this session’s positions. • On unwind: HyperCore USDC — Perpetuals close and collateral remains USDC on HyperCore.
